Last night or better said early this morning I finished the ceiling installation at the Forest Cafe. I am absolutely nackered. Photos will follow shortly.
Sarah Foqué is a Belgian artist/landscape architect based in the UK. Her work explores human-spatial relationships and human flows in the landscape. Her practice takes an analytical approach in which abstraction, simplicity and clarity are key. The drawings, designs and installations, which she creates are based on a reality within the landscape and the human experiences it evokes. Her drawings and installations can be seen as a form of mapping and research. The installations also have a second role as spatial transformers through their physical appearance. Her designs tend to focus on the re-programming of space and using this as a design tool. Her work is marked by a strong use of colour and a simple geometry, evoking a certain playfulness.
